Monster Mash affordable and accessible 3D Animation by Google AI

Google is always full of surprises when it comes to technology. 3D Animation which takes many years to master, is now made simple with Monster Mash. Now you can easily create 2D drawings, inflate the drawings and add control points. Now your animation is ready. All that you have to keep in mind is your 2D drawings should be in one stroke line. Once the limbs are drawn, layered deformation should be added to the limbs to animate them. 3D Animations are fun to create using monster mash. These are the steps to keep in mind:

1) Draw a 2D sketch

As usual, draw a 2d sketch which you would like to animate.

2) Inflate the 2D Drawing

The main body of the drawing should be in one stroke. Then stitching of limbs/ parts can be created and define them.Imagine we are drawing an elephant, the leg has to be attached to the body, so the system uses Poisson's equation to stitch the parts together. In this part, the images may look a little deformed, but this can be corrected in the deformation segment.

3) Layered Deformation

Monster mash uses the layered deformation method ARAP (AS RIGID AS POSSIBLE) to solve the loose ends. The deformity and other criterias will be optimized together to provide the user with a more sustainable 3d model.

4) Animation

To animate the objects, control points can be created on them which allows the objects to move. The movements for the objects are recorded online. It allows the user to animate one body part at a time and allows complex animations too.
